Tariqul Islam Joins WEJHA as General Manager

Tariqul Islam, the former Country Manager of ZKTeco Bangladesh, has officially joined WEJHA as General Manager. In his new role, Tariqul will oversee both local and international operations, leveraging his extensive experience in business development, strategic leadership, and market expansion to elevate WEJHA’s presence in the retail industry.

Tariqul served as the Country Manager of ZKTeco Bangladesh, where his leadership was instrumental in launching the company’s official operations in Bangladesh. Under his guidance, ZKTeco made significant strides in introducing cutting-edge security and biometric solutions to the Bangladeshi market.

Now, Tariqul Islam embarks on a new career journey with WEJHA, a strategic partner of AICTEC, a leading Saudi-listed company. As General Manager, he will be responsible for driving WEJHA’s growth and operational excellence, both locally and internationally. His role will involve formulating and executing strategies to expand WEJHA’s footprint in diverse markets, optimizing day-to-day operations, and fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. A key focus will be identifying new market opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company’s overall business performance.

In a recent discussion, he shared his vision for the future of Bangladesh’s retail industry, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation. “I have a clear plan to help shape the future of Bangladesh’s retail sector. With WEJHA’s advanced solutions, we can take Bangladeshi retail businesses to the next level. Our advanced Content Management Systems (CMS), cutting-edge digital signage, LED display, and AI-powered solutions will help retailers connect with their audiences in new and impactful ways,” said Tariqul Islam.

Prior to his role at ZKTeco Bangladesh, Tariqul was the Regional Manager for ZKDigimax, where he was responsible for overseeing operations in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. Mr. Tariqul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from China Three Gorges University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dhaka.
